About Shelly

Shelly M. Patel is a suspense author and a children’s book author. Jake Has Dyslexia, her debut children’s book, was nominated for the Reader’s Choice Award in 2021. Shelly has a master’s degree in Clinical Trials and Drug Development before she began writing. She’s a part-time writer.

Shelly and her husband live in Virginia Beach with their three children and their dog Teddy.
